I just noticed this morning that I hit 2000 QSOs in logbook. Not a bad response rate either. This is without any serious contesting mostly using compromise antennas with 100W or less.
I also managed to hear the Arecibo experiments last night. They were insanely strong on 5095khz. The tone at my QTH was easily 20 over. Even with 200 megawatts I didn’t expect NVIS propagation to work this well at these distances (2816 miles). I hope to receive this again later in the week and maybe put it through some better software.
